These are a couple of my drawings from this week's figure drawing thing. The top drawing took 20 minutes, I had 40 for the bottom one. I need to concentrate on details that make that person look like that... less generic.

I've had songs from the musical "Rent" stuck in my head for a week now.
Hoping to shoot tomorrow... we'll see. I seem to go in spurts. Well, not me, but my access to models does. I wish I had a twin or something... that way I'd always have a model.

So I've actually been semi-productive today... load of dishes in dishwasher, swept kitchen, rounded up 6 piles of loose change from around the house and put into the loose change bucket, ironed 4 of jon's shirts, covered the grill and tried to secure the chairs so we still have them tomorrow, and brought some of the dishes jon hoards at his desk down to the kitchen. I've only been up for 2 hours.
The wind is horrendous today, it's rainy and crappy and everything is blowing away.
Brittany is my sister's friend from college and she wants to do another shoot of her and a couple more of her friends... which would be nice since models suck.

My sis and her friends againSo I haven't shot since this with my sister. I need someone I can call on a moment's notice and know she's game. Allana lives an hour away, Amy got a job, Becca's in Watertown, Melissa's life is full of drama, Rachel is hard to get a hold of, and Courtney's a flake (evidenced by the fact that I have yet to shoot her and we work together!)
I don't have a single shoot booked from here to eternity.

I came home and sat on the back porch with a beer and my Jonafin and watched our cat try to catch birds. Twas fun. My models yesterday and today cancelled... of course.
